We believe that ideal Invisalign® candidates are non-smokers who have all their permanent teeth and are experiencing mild to moderate dental issues. More complex dental cases, such as severe overcrowding or jaw misalignment, might be better suited for other types of alignment treatments, like metal braces. How an Invisalign® Treatment Plan Is Made

After we have determined that you are an ideal candidate for Invisalign®, the next step is to create your individualized treatment plan. During this process, we will take 3D images and X-rays of your mouth in order to get a clear picture of your unique dental situation. This information will be sent off to an Invisalign® lab where your aligners will be created.

After your aligners have been fabricated, you will come into our office to pick them up and we will go over how to wear and care for them. You will be given a new set of aligners to wear every two weeks and you should only take them out to eat, brush, and floss. This means that you will be wearing your aligners for approximately 22 hours per day.
